Summer Palette

I took this photo a couple of years ago and sort of forgot I had it.  The photo was taken in the Outer Banks in North Carolina during sunset.  The colors were amazing as you can see, and I had to do very little processing out of the camera believe it or not.

Philadelphia Without Us

without comments

For those of you who know Philly, you know that this section of Interstate 76 that runs through the city is never without cars.  It’s a highway that never shuts down and is a vital artery into the city.   I was a workshop this morning in city center and arrived a little early and walked to the Spring Garden overpass to play with my new Lee Big Stopper filter.  This was about a 2 minute exposure just after sunrise which allowed for the passing cars to “disappear” giving an overall sinister look.  However, if you look closely, you can see some light trails from cars.
